Thanks for the pics - love seeing the bikes on your MINIS. I just picked up a full suspension Scott this summer - can't believe what I've been missing. But I do let the Jeep carry him around - can't bring myself to rack up the MINI.

That hood looks familiar. Sorry if mentioned before, but DuelL AG? How is it? I think one of theirs like that and a separate carbon fiber one roughly similar in design are two I was thinking of if I change mine out.

BRG and White is one of my favorite combos :knod: I've considered getting a Justa in that combo before.

VIS makes this one. I really lucked out and ordered it around three months ago. I was able to get it at the old price of 1,400.00 bucks while I saw now they are selling them for 2 grand. Oem hood weighs over 81lbs I believe. This guy only 19 lbs And alongside a m7 turbo heat sheild, a bigger intercooler, and a cold intake system my car is running cool.

Imagine how much weight you would save if all panels were carbon fiber. How about a carbon fiber paint job? I don't know which one would cost more. I bet you won't get any rock chips from the road with that hard carbon hood.
Are those 19" inch wheels?

Nice, thanks. Sounds like a great addition. I'm debating just how much CF I want appearance-wise, but it's always nice to lower the weight & raise durability/cooling aside from looks.

I have never been addicted to any type of drugs but I'm feeling like I go to have it! I had trouble sleeping last night because the carbon fiber hood was on my mind, it would blend in with my dark silver metallic paint job! I'll get it one way or another!

This is Baxter. He's a happy guy who enjoys the wind running through his grill.

Beautiful color! If I had my choice when buying my MINI used, I would have gone Lightening Blue! I love my BRG, but that blue is STUNNING!

They're not too bad with some searching. I found one place yesterday on sale about $700-800, another around $650ish I think? Most regular prices ranged from $1200-1600 aside from their site.

How's the fit and all? Read that's apparently an issue, even with the 'stock fit' ones.

Thank you. I do like lightening blue, but I admit I had a tough time deciding between BRG and lightening blue. I think BRG is so classic! Both colors are the bomb!

I bet there is some rub in the rear!

How do you like that exhaust? I had not heard of it before but looked it up...

The exhaust is great for the price. It took a bit to get the tips centered, and the clamps that come with it are useless, but other than that I like it. It is not very loud, but since I pulled the rear seats out I am getting a bit of drone. I may dynamat the rear to help quiet things down a bit.
