Yep! Lived on Tybee for the past 15 years. Grew up here, left after college for the North and lived all over the NE for 30 years. Just had the JCW upgrade kit installed yesterday... Air box, catback and flash. So far , so good!

How do you feel about the 'bang for the buck' on that JCW tuning kit? My service writer actually talked me out of it.

Well, I've only had it for day, but pleased so far. My service advisor races Minis for competive team in NASA/SCCA and he knows my car and how I drive. He recommended it after thorough discussion. You may not like the increase noise/sound from the catback but I do (had a Cayman S with a Fabspeed exhaust before). Plus, they are clearing inventory since this gear doesn't work on the new cars and it was a real bargain, too low to repeat here.

I also had a JCW Tuning Kit installed on my 2010 Mayfair S (Automatic) and although it drones somewhat over 75MPH, I absolutely love it. Better throttle response even with Sport Mode OFF and NO more pedal lag from a dead stop. With Sport Mode on....it is much quicker...better fuel mileage too...Had mine done 14 months ago...also a clearance price deal too low to tell, sorry. Car still under the full factory warranty...

Hello folks! New member here and I got my first Mini about a month ago. I've always liked these cars, but never had a chance to get one until now. So, finally, I managed to get my hands on one! I lovingly call it Slow White.

I'm still learning how to drive on a track, and the picture implies that I was going much faster than I actually did. Photo by Bill **** at https://www.billwangphotos.com/

We're naturally curious people as it pertains to these cars. Especially when there are so many ways to personalize them.

Thanks - the wheels will stay for now. Probably HIDs soon. Already got the floor liners ordered. Possibly tint the windows too

Yes, on the Factory HID. Big difference at night and changes the looks of the front end.

Floor Lines , did you go Weathertech or Genuine MINI ?

Medium Tint the window on light silver will look great and bring it all together.

I went with genuine mini. I agree with the HIDs and agree with the tint. I usually go 15-20 but might go for 50 for this car.

OT: I was building a small order from your site to get free shipping. But the 5day wait, coupled with a higher price and the fronts not included in free shipping forced me to get it from a mini dealer in FL

Bought him on August 22nd. 2012 Justa, panoramic roof, Connected with navi, 6-spd CVT. Rolled off the lot with 28k and just hit 30k yesterday.

I've some viper stripes and a belt line blackout on the way, cheapy cheap cheap personalizations. Everything else I want are on hold because I have too much self control to max out the credit cards. And I have to balance a car payment again.

That looks clean! Beltline blackout - is that the shadowline trim instead of the chrome?

Race Day

My Mini doesn't have all the bling that most have. But She is a lot more trim.

I had to google shadowline because I had no idea what that was, but I guess so? Whatever Outmotoring had for $10 lol.
