Wow, that's the first Cooper I've seen with the JCW kit. Looks good. Nice too see JCW gives some love to the non "S" crowd too!

What's different about your side markers? Are those the carbon fiber scuttles or whatever they're called?

Is there any disputing the fact that chili red is simply the best color on a MINI?

Those are the new side scuttles you can get from the dealer or I think I saw them on outmotoring.com. Ties it all together. There are several different styles besides those.

Thank you. That's funny you mentioned the checkered dash because I have been thinking about it and, that's next. I just got the S gas cap that I'm installing and the MiniFini bike rack.

The wheels are the 17" web spoke I bought on e-bay. I think the dealer prices on the nicer wheels is shameful. There's lots of better options for A LOT less out there.

2 reasons..

1. The car is a lease and the Joey mod isn't something I can return back to stock.
2. I like the look of the headlights as they are. The Joey mod looks good in some applications but I think it would be too much in this situation.

So will all the vinyl come off OK in terms of the return to stock? How about the wheels?

The rims are dirt cheap so I'll just buy a new set and transfer the tires over.

As far as the vinyl it will come off exposing one month old paint underneath. The car will be the best looking three year old car on the road. I may actually try and sell it for more than the buyout when the time comes. We'll see what happens.

i can't make up my mind whether i like PW or not. sometimes i think it looks great, other times i think it looks aweful and too yellowish creamy like gone off milk.

Well personally its my favorite

But honestly in person it never seems yellowish...the extremes it looks like at times/lighting conditions is either a somewhat purer white or a nice/soothing cream color (a good cream not the nasty milk haha)
