More MINI Mysteries...
The launch for the Military sales program is tomorrow (3 March). The lo**l military dealer received 11 MCS today.
Of the 11, 1 had a "functional" hood-scoop The inner bracket is a honeycomb pattern, and this particular **r had every other column "open". I **n only guess that Mini intended to make them "functional" at one point, but then changed their mind... and somehow this **r got the "old" part.
Of the 5 on the floor that I had access to the inside... 3 had working cubbies/storage compartments. Maybe I'll go back and check the others.
I tried to discern some correlation, to no avail. HiFi and non HiFi each had working and non-working cubbies. I tried to make some sense of the VIN in order to get a pattern... but that didn't make immediate sense either. If anyone has the "code" for the VIN on the '07s... maybe I **n use that.
Man I sure want a working cubby! But instead of answers... just more mystery.
