Only 28 days at the NJ VDC!! What a complete joy to drive home!
Congratulations on your R56, it looks great!
Ok, I have to ask: 28 days at the VDC?!?! I wonder if there was a little boo-boo they had to fix? IIRC, under $500 in damage doesn't have to be disclosed.
Just an FYI. Our R56 sat at VDC for more than 6 weeks! The car was built in very early December and delivered to VDC with a ton of late R53 models. I doubt anything was wrong with this persons car. Check the production date. Might be the same situation.

I think there was just a back log. tracker175tx was also on my boat (Freedom) at the same dealership and he received his car the week before I did. So I'm "confident" there wasn't a major issue. Everything seems good - even the sunroof is quiet! : )
Very nice MINI and I like the color combo, looks sharp!
28 Days! :impatient That's a long wait. The anticipation must have been murder!
Now that your MINI's home, ENJOY! May it bring you many smiles and miles of happy motoring.
The wait was awful - especially because there is so much communication up to the VDC. So my daily calls turned to every other day turned to every 3 days because I felt horrible nagging my MA and knew there wasn't anything he could do. All's well now. You'll know it's me if you see that color combination and the driver has permagrin!
Here's my review of the car during the hour ride home -
Did you get the hi-fi upgrade? If yes, how does it sound?
dean.
I did get the hi-fi upgrade and it sounds great. I agree with some other posts on the radio being a bit confusing but I'll get used to it. I can't compare the sound to the standard system - but I like what I hear!
