May I play?
I have a NFR Clubman (manual) on order (well, I'm wait listed before the actual order), but my deposit is in and now I play the waiting game for 5-6 months, egad!
I was wondering if I could get feedback on either the black top/black pillars/black stripes combo or the silver top/silver pillars/silver stripes combo. I was first leaning towards the silver combo, but now I'm leaning towards the black combo. All this wait time before my order is placed has me leaning back and forth so much I'm getting sea sick and my car isn't even near the boat yet. So far also leaning towards Bonnet stripes rather than racing stripes...

So, if you've ordered, I have a few questions to fill in the blanks. What is your state, name of car, Year, packages, any other options (e.g. interior colors), and I'll leave the roof and stripes options open until you decide.
Roof = black is my pick / but I'm not a fan of the silver on NFR.
Stripes = Play with this. There are awesome custom stripe options out there and your imagination can take control. Factory stripes are cool, but some custom jobs turn "cool" into "amazing". Also, it's cheaper to go custom.

Thanks. I'll wait to post the information when the order is final, MA said 3 months before I could order (maybe that will change). According to him, I'm currently scheduled for a 2009 since it will be manufactured after the first part of Sept. I hope they keep the NFR as I love this color and I'm really inspired by your black stripes to have the same! Beautiful car.

I've disappeared as I can now say that the wait to receive the MINI was harder than getting the house, but the break-in on the house involves a lot more work!!! My first driveway car wash tonight though, yahoo!
Belated thanks to Snid--I did just grab Meguirs while I was out, but I have to invest in the whole shabang. Anxious to try out the Black Wow.
Coopdy--welcome aboard and egads, that's quite a wait! And black pillars are definitely the way to go.

It is 35% and 5%. I haven't done the sunroof but I'm going to take it back and have them do that. I will do 5% there also.

No Clubman-ers have come in here yet...we've been waiting. I've actually added a "Model" section to the database especially for those Clubmanners.
So, if you've ordered, I have a few questions to fill in the blanks. What is your state, name of car, Year, packages, any other options (e.g. interior colors).

Located in WI; no name; 2008 Clubman; cold weather, MFSW; fluid silver with black vinyl sport seats.
There are a couple pictures in my gallery.
We've been having lots of fun with it!

I need the following info as well for the database: transmission, packages, and any additional options you've added. I'll check in your photos for stripes & roof color myself!

Hi all,
I don't yet have a mini, and am in the "deciding what I want before I buy later this month" stage.
So, I thought I wanted green, but when I saw nightfire red on the lot I think I fell in love.
So, I am thinking of getting the NF red, with tan leather seats, chrome mirrors, black roof, and spoiler. I think it gives the car a neat, classy, old-school British look.
Is it worth it for the chrome line interior and/or exterior? (Leaning toward the interior, against the exterior.)
What do people think of this color combo?
And, why don't they make the S in nightfire red? I'd get the S, but I love the color too much!

As for me, I'm all for the chrome. For me it made a difference. On the other extreme, if I didn't have chrome, I'd black out the entire car's features.....to the extreme. That would be pretty cool in my books too.
It's all what you want.

Howdy hey Rieux! Good luck with the order and wait. Green is great but redder is better. That almost rhymes. Here's my favorite theory on no NFR for the S (courtesy of gokartride???)--the "S" decal/ornament on the rear of the car is a bright red that would clash with NFR color.
The chrome interior is pretty minimal, but it classes it up a bit. For me the big 'ole chrome grill was enough for the exterior.
