Welcome to the Family! I think you made a wise choice! Keep us posted on delivery. Dennis is very good at assisting during that time. We are here to commiserate when the waiting gets to be too much!

She's Here!
Picked her up last night and had to drive 60 miles back home thru the areas biggest t-storm in months
It was a flippin car wash! But at least I got to test out the wipers.
So I'll post pics as soon as I dry her off
Meantime, I stumbled on an interesting article about Mini's HUGE demand.
Enjoy...

Well no name yet. But it's a 6 speed Getrag manual with black/gray leatherette interior (standard headliner). Not sure what else would be in the etc part.

First Shots
She reflects the clouds, so I shall call her...
Jet
I'll have more shots in my gallery, but here's 3 for now. Tint is metalized at 35% on the sides/back and non-metal and 5% on the sunroof.

One of those quirky things that resolved itself...that's a good thing.
Took her in today and they "initialized" the window, fixing the issue. She also came with some scratches and a chip/knick in the cd cover, all of which they're gonna fix when parts arrive. They even found a blemish in a sideview, and are going to replace it, too.
So far my service dept gets one of these...
btw, I clocked a stretch of interstate at 44.5 mpg, and the Mini manager clocked one of the new '09 John Coopers at 42. Pretty amazing for a turbo 215 hp.
