I think the NFR motto when it comes to blue is...."Give them enough rope, and they'll go out and buy a NFR!"

Those blue (and silver) types are the safe types. It takes a rebel to drive NFR!!!

So...FYI on winter-ability of any MINI. We got a winter storm with about 10 inches of snow over the last 3 days. Cars are getting stuck everywhere, and Bubbles and I (remember good winter tires) are flying around everything, and if the car doesn't "sled" overtop of the big snowdrifts, it cuts right thru them. Very impressive with snow bounding over top of the roof of the car as you smash through yet another snow drift. This car is the best winter vehicle I've ever owned....For those in the south, you need to get your winter tires and head on up!

Anybody here going to enter the April Photo contest? I was thinking about it, but my photography skills are not so awesome...

Photo contest? Cameras are banned from my house due to the frequency they shatter when they see me.

Got rain, dennisd63? Or did you get a new pool? Or did you run over your water hose with your lawn mower?

Just watch for news reports about the Red River of the North...and see what ice buildup can do!

Just for the record, if they made the Clubman S in NFR there would be one that color gracing my driveway, instead I "settled" for Laser Blue.

Just had a glorious day of motoring. Sunroof open, windows down, 75 degrees and radio blaring. Just thought I'd share :-) Hope everyone is enjoying their "babies" today!

the DBman can post if there is one in the club and if so, there should be pictures of it somewhere in the thread. I've never seen one out in the wild. All the ones I've seen have been Clubman with black or silver.

Nice intro CJ:

Hey Radio....I only have 2 Clubbies on record poking their heads in here, you're the 3rd! But they have black or silver rooves. However, there are 2 MINIs with a NFR roof, and you should be able to find their galleries: they are plasmodesmata and AlabamaNightfire.....see what you can find.

For the database, I still the need the following for your entry: name of your MINI, are there any bonnet stripes and what color, and which transmission.

I think that will be an amazing looking MINI...I particularly like the beige interior & Oak....very classy.

When you get your MINI, post a pick here, and CJ will give you a little surprise...you will become a "vested" member in our club...and will then have bragging rights about the "delivery"....it's down-right painful!

Hola everyone. Remember me?

I refuse to show up and only share bad news so I won't! But, let's just say that a birdie told me that MINIs do in fact take a 15 mph rear ending really well! From a small Sentra at least.

Hope everybody is swell!!!

Thanks DBman! you've all made me feel really welcome.. something that wasn't always the case on bimmerfest or swedespeed.

I won't have a name for him till I sit in him, (it's a connection thing, come on you know what I mean) =)

EDIT: just got my production week. 19!!!!! ARGH! not till May 3rd!!!

So no name yet,
Bonnet stripes, yes, but dealer installed.. I was going white, but I'm thinking black will be best. I don't know why you can't get black factory stripes w/o black roof. seems silly.
and steptronic trans.

Thanks Radio...I've entered "NYN'd" (not yet named), but I think we all know the naming convention....it'll come to you when you see it.

ROO...say it ain't so. I've had the entire front end caved in...but now we're up and running fine. It's difficult to match NFR paint...to keep an eye on that!

ALL: I found the newer "The Italian Job" DVD today for $5....guess what I'm doing tonight!

Sometimes I think other vehicles are just drawn to the NFR color like flies to a zapper!
