This has been a very wierd stretch of weather. This is normally weather we get in April. It didn't start until May and has continued.
We should have had our high pressure dome parked over us by now, not a low pressure valley. I have lived in Texas all my life and cannot remember a weather pattern like this happening for as long as this one has been going on.
Then I probably shouldn't mention that my plan of camping out last weekend became staying in a hotel room because the night temperatures were in the lower 40s, huh?
Well Skuzz...I have a complete long weekend to myself coming up and it's been raining dogs and horses and french poodles up here in Canada too...and we've been very very warm for June...classic tornado weather! Maybe it's time for a road trip?
Bubbles is getting a nose job and a colonoscopy tomorrow....(aka...Driving Lights and Retro Gas Cap)!!!! Pics once they're done...I promise!
Done lurking I'm not officially a Nightfire Red owner yet, but I may be if the wife doesn't like Sparkling Silver better
Looking forward to seeing what a Retro Gas Cap looks like.
On a related note...can the standard gas filler cap be replaced with the Chrome one at a later date, or is it only factory installed? and what difficulty is involved? Thanks.
Coffee and Valium today for me! Looking forward to the post-surgical improvements! But today, I have to jump into a silver MC auto......I keep stepping on the floor looking for the clutch...just where do they hide the clutch on these autos?
Time isn't always of the essence...isn't it supposed to be about how you get there? That's what the clutch is for. I think they should create an Artificial Clutch option for all the Auto drivers out there! And then we can spend some time teaching them how to go..."bbblbllflflfrrrrrorom"...and wipe spit off the windshield.....
I think it is more about how you arrive. Besides, if they were "bbblbllflflfrrrrrorom", some mechanic would call for an emergency engine extraction and they could lose thier livers! It's more "vroom-vroom-blat-blat-burble-burble".
This one is tough too. The darn ABS brakes make it hard to screech to a satisfying sounding halt. I know, some jerk in a truck blew through a red light today. I would guess I was 0.5 seconds from t-boning him. It's a very blind intersection, at the bottom of a hill. It's very tempting to tear through it, but fortunatley I always try to slow down before it. It paid off today! The ABS work well!

So you arrived in stained shorts? That is one way to do it.
I made the Wife unit sit outside and drink her StarChucks the other day. Fortunately, there was an awning as it was raining, or she would have gotten really wet and would have had to sit outside until she dried.
My goodness...the NFR group has really taken a turn! Just look at the randomness of the conversation! This feels so much like home!
So, Bubbles is coming out of surgery...they're still aiming his driving lights and going to give him a post-op scrub. I'm excited. 90 minutes until I get to see him!
Well my NFR is at the distribution center and I expect delivery this week. I will post up the initial pics once it delivers, but it looks like I may get some pics with a girl in vinyl. Talking to the photog about the details.
