This is a boring meaningless, selfish rant as I have nothing better to say today. And everyone here can relate to my separation anxiety.

Why are my trip destinations so far away? I'm going to Chicago/Detroit/Dayton separately in the next month for leisure/family/bid'ness respectively. I really, really wish I could drive, but just don't have the time. Bah. I haven't had a real road trip yet, but if I took one I would have no time at a destination. At least in Chicago there's a Hot Orange ragtop I'll get to play with.

OK, Mr. Grumpy is done for today.

Just think of how happy Mia will be to see you return!

I know what ya mean though. I would be nuts (ya, ok,..I know) had I not done that 500+ mile weekend trip with Romi and the Wife unit. It was a blast.

At least I'll get to have a Chicago hot dog/Grandma's meatballs/...no, no redeemable food in Dayton. I end up at Panera's three times a day when I go there!

Oh, and word dood, I'm in on those badgies!

Ok, let me see what I can do about the badges. I had some other things to do first, but I guess I need a small project to get the kinks worked out of the mill.

WOOT! The Mill is ordered. Approximately 1 week lead time.

What kind of badges are you guys and gal envisioning? I have to do a 3D design of it to mill it. Is it something you attach to the car interior, exterior? Maybe to the key ring? Plaque on the wall?

I think we should make a similar emblem to the bonnet badge that we can replace on the front and back of the car....we'll put your symbol on the car instead!

Didn't want you guys to think I deserted you, just got back from a great vacation in Myrtle Beach. Is this a metal CNC you are talking about Skuzz? I am familiar with the kind used in a woodworking shop. I am definitely interested to see what you come up with. I still haven't had time to work on a new sig tag, one of these days...

Microproto. It has a 12x6x6 inch table. 200oz steppers, 1/2" lead screws, 1/4HP drive motor. It is a 3 axis, and I am adding a rotary table plus adjustable tail stock as a 4th axis.

Primarily designed for quick proto-typiing of small parts.

I will be able to work with aluminim, copper, wood, or plastics on it shaka.

I thought if I had enough, it would be banished from my life forever. But alas, I come home and the kitties created quite the piles of it.

They do love to do that.

You guys/gals realize that NFR may end up being the rarest Mini color in near history? Our sister color OB, appears to be going gang busters.

I have yet to see another NFR Mini in the wild. Pretty cool, eh?
