I saw my first NFR in the wild yesterday! It was right by my house. Unfortunately I wasn;t really paying attention so I only saw it for a second and didn't get to wave.

You'd think he'd at least spring for the fuzzy ones. Although those are dangerous, I had a friend who apparently got stuck in a pair b/c the fuzz got stuck in the locking mechanism.

Rosey's covered in lint right now but it's my fault for hauling carpet to the dump in her. Poor Rosey, She needs a bath and vacuum but it keeps raining on the weekends lately so it always seems pointless.

I wish it was only lint! With our winters, we have salt, mud, ice, etc etc...it's splattered over the doors, the kick panels, the roof liner (for those extra special nights!)......it looks like the after-effects of a cross country rally!

I remember those days from living in Utah.... Having to take chunks of ice off the car and wash it every time you saw the sun for 5 minutes! Now, that is just a distant memory of a former life!

I love that area too! My favorite places are up in the Wasatch mountains in the northern part of the state. Very beautiful up there.

New owner

Hi,
I hope this is a good place to start. I pick up my 2008 Nightfire Red Mini Cooper tomorrow from Moritz Mini in Arlington, Texas. I was shopping for a new daily driver (145 mile daily commute) and 37mpg sounded perfect. The car is beautiful and there's just something about this color. It's a 6speed with black leather interior and HiFi and Sirius. I can't wait to learn more about the car and this site.
