Fair enough! Muy thanks for the info. I just ordered a pair of viper stripes fro AC...ahhhhh! They are going to be black with a white pin. I'm still going to add the side angled stripes as well to match. I was just going back and forth for the longest time you know?! This is my first new car not to mention my first Mini, and well....you know what I mean....you want to get everything just perfect.

I also found a decent place where I ordered the JCW floor mats...$100 for the pair! Everyone else was selling them for like $130-$150.

Hmmm...matching stripes on the boot? Good idea for the basement activities?

Um...the regular temperature is...-19.....a little bit of wind is driving the windchill down to about -25......we still have about 2 months of this brutal cold to go. Funny thing is...summer will drive our temps up to 80 to 90!

Now that hardly seems fair! For all that bitter cold, you should be able to enjoy a 60 to 70 degree summer at least!!!

okay...and the reason I decided to get an 07 instead of an 08, was there were still a few left, and it was truly a steal! The best part of it was the financing which was a lot better than my Credit Union! Go figure that one!

Thanks for the membership. Since I just ordered this past Wednesday, I probably won't have any pics until early to mid-March, but you can be sure that I will post them as soon as I can take them. As for a name, I am giving the Mini a proper English name to showcase its heritage, "Randolph Wadsworth Cooper".

Fledged you are! All I need is some info for the database. Your MINI's name, transmission and any packages. Looks great!

I think I'll call him Chucky
6-speed
I'm unsure about packages. It has a bunch of stuff:
black leather seats with tiny vented holes in them.
auto climate control
am/fm/cd with Sirius and this ipod headphone jack thing (works good but you have to control from the ipod)
interior lighting that changes colors (I like blue)
hidden pistol compartment in dash

I really like it!!

Oh various gadgets but it never occurred to me to keep a gun there! That would take a Texan!

So I was brought Mia back to the body shop for the 2nd time! First time I picked her up, she had a droopy eye--apparently the impact dropped the screw that levels the headlight. They had to replace the whole thing, even though nuttin' that high up had actually been impacted.

Now brought her back today to burp the cooling system--I thought I was crazy at first, but finally accepted that the heater just wasn't getting hot. Air bubble got in there, which basically makes nuttin' in the cooling (and hence heating) system work! So watch out for this, he says it supposedly happens to MINIs a lot, and it's another drawback of not having a danged engine gauge.

Hopefully Mia will take the attitude of a bruiser now and not become a hypo-car-driac. <sorry had to!>
