my LS/B MCS is also on the Figaro and i cant wait for it to hit the port of hueneme! Somebody said that once it is done crossing over the ocean, Sailwx wont keep track of it anymore...doesnt that just suck!Does anybody know how long it will take once it arrives at the port to my dealers door in North Scottsdale, AZ??
we are getting so close! My car overheated on me this past weekend and i am ready for my mini...
i may currently be carless, but it'll make the arrival of my mini that much better.
ive been silent? haha, i thought everyone else was being silent! VDC being really backed up was heard from my MA. But he said it was because last week they had a lot of cars being dropped off. Peppy is coming to Crevier Mini! Nice to hear that Figaro will be arriving early!
I think she'll get unloaded today, as the schedule shows her departing for Tacoma tomorrow (Easter Sunday). Just depends on whether or not VDC is backed up as others have indicated. In any event, we'll have our babies home on American soil soon.
I saw it on AISLIVE map right at the port a few hours ago, but I do not know why the WW site does not indicate Figaro's arrival. Anxious for the news.
The schedules portion of the WW site does not show that a ship has been to a port until it leaves for the next stop.
Our cars were unloaded off the Maersk Wind earlier this week but the information on the WW site was not updated until two days after the fact. Not the same as when they were loaded aboard the ship and the information was updated in real time.
That said, the OL was updated today to show that my car is at the distribution center. Gives a delivery date of April 15.
How long from the unload till estimated delivery? I am trying to see if there is chance for me to pick it up next weekend (April 14/15) in LA. I guess if Maersk Wind showed up early this week and they gave you a 4/15 delivery date, it is very unlikely for them to give me the same.
I spoke with my MA on Thursday and all he would say was that I should be able to pick up my car before the end of the month.
If the 15th is accurate, a Sunday, no less, then that suggests there may be a shorter backlog at Port Hueneme than what has been suggested here in recent days.
my MA's estimation was the earliest on the 15th and the latest about the 18th.
not too sure how accurate that is though..(considering Maersk Wind people are estimated at the 15th or so..)
