Went and saw it today but did not pick it up. They had not finished putting the bonnet stripes on and I did not want to take it and go back again for the stripes. I will pick it up on Friday. They made two minor mistakes. I did not order Piano Black but it was there and they said they are not going to charge me for it. And I ordered Bridge Spoke rims and it had Star Spoke rims on which looked good anyway. No complains yet.

 

ManaMini, that is so exciting. Your delivery gives me high hopes of my car arriving on time as well! Hopefully i will be able to pick it up on Sunday! The long long loooong wait is almost over......!!!

I wonder how long it will take mine to get to Denver? I'm guessing a couple more weeks before I can pick it up.

i called my MA today telling him that my car is available today....
i guess i didnt really think it through for me answer of where i heard that incorrect information!

oh well. off to pick up the loan check!

 

Mine is also coming to Denver (Ralph Schomp MINI). My MA told me it is at the VDC and is scheduled to be released to the carrier Sunday or Monday for transport to Denver. From release to the carrier should only take a day or two.

it will finally be mine in less than 24 hours.....

 

I'm close to that, Peppy. Mine is due to arrive at the dealer tomorrow. I don't know what to expect for dealer turnaround time, but in the next few days I should be a Mini owner!

And it will have only taken about Seventy Seven Thousand, Seven Hundred and Sixty Heart Pounding Sweat Inducing Minutes (give or take a few)!

Kinda like an arranged marriage, waiting to see the bride (or groom) for the first time. Better yet, a mail order bride...ordered, looked at the photos, but no idea what it'll look like in real life.

The OL says my estimated dellivery date is the 14th also. If I could pick it up by the end of the week it would be awesome!

The expereince at the dealership was great. They did not renag on the deal at all. In addition, the MA threw in the floor mats and nitrogen for free without me asking. I ended up paying $200 under MSRP for a custom odreded car delivered 5 weeks after the order. Cannot top that. I cannot wait to see your photos.

 

My car was due to the dealers today, so I called them to check but since I couldn't get them on the phone I dropped by. I went to where the new cars are and as I strolled up the line and saw a Laser Blue/W, white wheels, I heard, "Hi, Daddy!". My Mini was calling to me! I sped up, and saw my new ride:





Not sure when it'll be ready for me, but I'm ready for it !

 

Congratulations Eeny!i cant wait for when i get to see my car in the flesh!mine was supposed to arrive yesterday,but im not sure if it's at my dealership yet because the ol hasnt updated yet and i havent gotten a phone call yet from my ma...but i think its because they have to add some dealer accessories before they call me!did your ol say that the estimated delivery was today?just wondering if its that accurate.

 

Is there anyone who's dealer isn't in CA that knows when they will be getting their Mini?

 

joeviterbo17 - my MA didn't call me, I called him a couple days ago and learned he expected it today. I don't expect to hear from him until it's fully processed and ready for me to take home, maybe Mon/Tues. I stopped checking OL weeks ago, before Figaro docked - the time lag with OL makes it useless at the latter points in the delivery process.

 

My pick up was fast, easy and it I was already on the road at about noon today. Just got back an hour ago.....
what they say is true, the entire wait is totally worth it!
