Let's See Your Sparkling Silver MCS
Well we have the distinction of having a color that is new for this year--that's more than those "chile red" guys can say--LOL! Just jabbing because they have their own thread. Would love to see pictures of your SS MCS!
Just purchased a SS MCS with Carbon Black Lounge Leather and am planning a number of modifications, such as clear rear turn signals, chrome hood scoop, Chrome Mirror Caps, Chrome Grills, tinted windows, upgrading or powder coating my wheels, adding a downpipe, exhaust, BOV, and trying to get a friend who owns a turbo tuning shop to design a cold air intake and boost controller down the road after it is determined what levels of boost are safe on what octane fuel.
Wow, that was a long run-on sentence!
Would love to see other SS MCS's to get ideas!
Have you noticed how this color changes colors in different lights? The metallic really transforms in different light exposures!

Sounds like your dealer and after market people are going to love you. Be careful not to invalidite your warranty. Ask your service advisor at the dealership before doing engine mods. I was at the dealer on Saturday and overheard a shouting match between a customer and the service manager over just such an issue. By the way the cost to customer over $3K.

Ken Cooper: Beautiful! I didn't get the black roof and it looks great! Love the 2nd pic too!
Sure, why not Let's see it!
We were going with 18" JCW Wheels and the dealer was going to charge $3200 for them and stated they were extra for bump stops and labor to install! We decided to save this money use if for other various mods! Thanks for the heads up on the warranty issue, we will be cautious about that! We have an '07 Z06 that we've had the same problem with--they are VERY quick to try and void the warranty and say it is because you've modded something.

MIN 18: The red interior looks very sharp! I didn't know it was an option and even if I would have would have never guessed it would look so good!
z3bum: VERY NICE! Wish we would have gotten the white turn signal package, but you have to have a priority order of packages unless you are willing to special order. We did a nation-wide search and that was lower on our list! Nice MINI and love the white! We got the mini tinted today and then the wheels come off tomorrow and we are having the centers powder coated black. I like the ASA's. Would you run 18" in runflats?runflat's?

One More For The Road!
I'd always lusted after a PW blk. roof, and was certain I was going in that direction, until I saw the S/S with blk. roof and stripes...and the turmoil began! Back and forth, back and forth. Next time I saw the S/S without the blk roof I decided on the PW, but I kept looking at these photos. Finally I had the opportunity to see the blk roof on the S/S again, ( just one more time, to be sure) and that was it! It definitely is sophisticated looking. I would call it sparkling khaki...has a greenish hue. I ordered it today! They are not easy to see, because they are not prevalent, and the true color does not photograph.
