Ok Sorry guys 4 being so vague. what happed was i had 2 take the key out of the key fob 2 open the door, and actually put the whole fob in the ignition the 1st time 2 get it 2 start. The 2nd time i accidentally left the the whole key fob in the car, and the doors got locked in the car wash and i had 2 go all the way home 2 get my spare key fob 2 open the car. does that make more since?

That could be a problem at car washes, or other situations where you hop out and leave the car running. Happened to me with a rental car. My mailbox is at the bottom of a very steep drive. I stop, get out to get the mail, gravity overcomes the mechanism keeping the door open, the car locks all its doors with the engine running. There I was, all keys locked in the car, my house locked, and the engine running. Fortunately, I had a cel phone.

Hmm. There is no way the doors would lock by themselves with the key fob in the car. Unless, you have timed locking programmed AND the battery in the fob is dieing or dead. The battery does not charge, as mentioned in the manual and needs replacement on a regular basis. It's possible one or both of your fobs have defective batteries. Just pop off the back of the fob and get a new battery. It is the type CR 2032 is is a commonly available battery at electronic stores and CVS.

Was the engine running when you left the fob in the car?
