Close on the Jag. It's a '67 Series I E-type. Dad has passed away, and a friend of his now owns the Jag.
Ah, the boot stripes. Ordered those from Aesthetic Creations. A listed NAM vendor. Had those ordered and installed by my dealer when my baby arrived. My dealer chared $85 to install--very reasonable. I like the boot stripes. I think they finish the look.
Next up, along with the cowl grill trim will probably be the honeycomb side markers (scuttles). I hate those cheap, black plastic ones ...
Anyway, congrats on your new arrival! What a wonderfully unique color, the OB. Still haven't seen another one on the road, yet ...

Yes, Stu, Thanks! I've got the part #. I just e-mailed my MA for a quote on it after I saw yours.

I know I should probably do a search or start a new thread - But I thought I would ask my fellow brethren first!
Two things: If I leave my lights on and get out of the car I don't get a warning chime - but when I look the lights aren't on anyway...Is this normal?
Secondly, I configured the first key's settings. Went to do the second and it just will not let me set the indicators/turn signal to the three flashes. I changed other settings but it won't retain this one - trip to the dealer or is there a way I can reset it and try again?
BTW: Cleaned the car last night - it just looked great in the twilight!

I don't mind helping out....this was the MA who, after hours, lead me through the labyrinthal maze of dealership halls, corridors, and passageways to get a sneak peek at my OB/W Cooper the night before I took delivery just over a year ago. First time I ever laid eyes on an OB MINI in real life...it was a magical moment. Didn't sleep much that night as I recall!!!

First few times I left my stalk on headlight I was very surprised when I returned to my car.

Maybe I'm a bad spaming/bumping influence on this thread....so just to let you know, I'm told that the car computer hit 40.6 mpg after about 100 miles into the new tank of gas today

My baby was just born yesterday, but is on the way to the port for her voyage over. An Oxygen Blue, Black roof and mirrors Cooper, with charcoal checkered cloth sport seats, cold weather and premium packages, dynamic steering control and auto transmission. It's great to be able to browse through this thread and see some wonderful photos in the meantime. Helps the wait period a little bit!
Thinking of blacking out the beltline and doing the JCW front grill and trim to tie it all together. So many ideas here with what people have done... and the vendors ready to make those ideas become reality.
My, my this is fun. I can hardly wait!
