Thank you "gokartride". I am not sure yet because whenever I used my VIN on WW website it doesn't recognize it

Skuzzy has the same deal...he said MINI uses different shipping companies and WW is the only one w/ on-line tracking (anybody that whines as much as he does is bound to find out these things). You might fire him a pm and see if he's figured anything out. He seems to think they're being shipped via Carnival...which I admit seems strangely appropriate for a MINI!!!

Thanks "gokartride" for the tip. My MA said that my car will be here either 2nd week or 3rd week of May....just wondering if it's going to happen

My Sparkling Silver Metalic/Black Mini is partying with your Mini! It arrived in Port Newark today and was unloaded waiting for a carrier. I'm in NJ and my MA told me I should have it by the end of the week!

That's a fine looking PW/B Cooper! I almost went with the English Oak/Cream White interior myself, but didn't because I wanted silver, not Piano Black, door rings. So, I went with Fluid Silver/no-colorline instead. I also love your wheels and would have gotten those too, except I wanted non-run flat all-season tires. So, I stuck with the 15" spoolers. I also went with the checkered cloth seats. I was doing my best to find the high-value/low-cost sweet spot.

I did splurge on the white turn-signals though. As your pics confirm, they look sweet on a PW coop.

Love the PW/B. Can't wait for mine to get here.

Wooden steering wheel

Housewolf, I'm surprised that you already have a wooden steering wheel. It hasn't been available that long, you must be one of the first. Really looks nice...I'm jealous.

Thanks, as many options as there are available on these cars it's a chore ordering especially with someone else's taste in mind. I struggled for longer than I care to admit. It was a surprise gift to the wife from me and it will be her daily driver so it was built around her taste & needs more so than mine. She loves it.
The runflats... I'm not a big fan of, but here in Texas all season doesn't carry much meaning. If they prove to be useful once, I guess it'll be worth it. Then when it's time to replace, we can weigh the options.
We're taking a little trip next weekend so I'm looking forward to getting it out on the road. Thanks again!

How could she not?

Did you get the sun roof? If so, how is it in the hot Texas sun? (I'm in Kansas, so it's not much cooler up here -- in the summer anyway.) Can the Mini's reputedly weak AC beat down the sun's heat with a sun roof?

Production week 17 Cars getting closer to their owners.....!!

Just checked OL.Mini tonight to see if my status was updated and IT'S AT THE DEALER !! Hopefully, I will get a call this week. WOOOOOOOOO!!! Attachment 20952

However, I am working in Arizona (Sierra Vista) all week - so I won't be able to get it until this weekend.

Now I just need to stay cool (in AZ no less) until I get the call.

So, I called my dealer today and my MC is there, but I can't pick it up till tomorrow morning! The detailers left early for the day....it's killing me to know it's just sitting there waiting for me. At 9:00 am I'll be there with bells on and I'm not leaving till I'm seated behind the wheel of my brand new Sparkling Silver Mini!

So nice to see MINIs finally getting home. Looks like another week to 10 days for me. I hope to get a report from the VDC (via my MA) on the truck schedule. I think I may be taking a few days off next week. Just a hunch.

We finally picked him up this morning!! This is an amazing car and it is soo fun to drive. We drove 150 miles today just motoring around. We were "Harold and Kumar" today and drove 50 miles to a White Castle. No place special to go, just wanted to go!

Oh, and get this....I initally goofed and neglected to order the spoiler. Well, I thought that's ok, I like the MCS's spoiler better anyway, so I'll wait and try to get one put on in the future. Well....someone else goofed and put a spoiler on...it wasn't on the window tag and I didn't pay an extra cent for it. So, I didn't get any freebees on purpose, but they did give me one by accident. Hey, I wasn't going to turn it down!

The waiting was starting to get tough....but, the moment finally came and I got my dream car!
