Well, I picked up my new car today and what a beauty.
The only bad thing was that less than five miles after I got on Interstate 5 to head south, a guy started to pull into my lane. Luckily, I was quick on the horn and he got back over before we met most unceremoniously.
The good part of the trip home was that it rained all 200 miles. Gave me plenty of time to try out the rain-sensing wipers.
u'd think that dude would have seen u... it's not like she's not yellow... lol... i trust myself with my cars it's the idiots out there that don't pay attnetion that scare me...
The wipers worked pretty good. I'm trying to find the post, however, that explains how to adjust the sensititivity. If I remember correctly, they can only be adjusted if you have the navigation system. They were a little too sensitive when the rain let up. Hmm, but in reading more, it may be the auto-on lights that can be adjusted, not the wipers.
Thanks for your comments and those from the rest of you who wrote.
Angie, aka Grn w/ Envy, picked up her car at nearly the same time. She and her husband took the train down to Portland and then were going to drive back. She went nearly 200 miles north to get home; I had the same distance south.
I aint a fan of yellow, but that looks pretty striking! Congrats
If I had to pick a solid color, I would have gone for Lightning Blue. I'm not a big fan of yellow, either, but I liked the contrast of the black roof and mirrors.

I think the yellow looks good on a MINI . . . Your car looks somehow - Familiar -
Hey Sowellman! Big congrats! Looks lovely. Glad to hear you made the save trip home. Worth the wait, eh?
Yes, it was definitely worth the wait. After 12 years in the Civic, I swear every Honda I've passed in the last day has been growling at me.
It was strange, though, walking into the Rasmussen dealership yesterday. First time I had done that. All of the interaction with my MA since October had been over the phone or by email.
