Bart5467 you should be careful what you post. You were on the track or something like that right? If something g-d forbid happens, insurance companies could search this forum out and if they could prove who you are......

Bart5467's location says Germany, so I would imagine he could be traveling on the legendary Autobahn with no limits. How do insurance companies over in Germany handle those situations?

He's in Germany...doubtful US insurance companies could [or even would] do a lot there.
Remember too that your V rated tires are only "good" to 149mph.
For those that haven't experienced the autobahn... they're getting rarer, but there are still many unregulated places with 3 (or more) lanes to open it up. The majority of the autobahn is now speed limited, or has too much traffic (especially trucks), or construction to really get to play.
Biggest concern is that 130kmh is the recommended speed. If you're in an accident (particularly if it involves another car), you're usually at fault if the polizei determine you were driving too fast... which can get an insurance claim denied.
Hey, with the 10% speedo error some are experiencing... 150 is only really 135. OK, OK... the average error sees to be more like 5-6% (now that I caught up on the other thread out there). So, more like 142. Sorry.
Still probably faster than I'd want to do in a MINI... but I must admit, I've had 110 (indicated) sneek up on me in this car. Scary-stable for a small 4-wheeled vehicle. I was very suprised. I love this car!

Yes it was on the autobahn, in this area there is very little traffic and it is very fun blowing the doors off of the bigger cars in my MINI i do love this car i'm not really likeing the run flats cant wait 2 change them out
As I am in break-in I have not approached top speed. Nor is it likely I ever will. However, the default speed warning setting on the car, which is defaulted at it's supposed top speed, was set at 153, not 135. I reset it to 90.
