That is awesome NPNJ, good for you!
What dealer did you go with to make your order happen, and....if you don't mind answering, when did you put down your deposit?
I started my order in September with $1000 dollars down, but it seems that the Military sales dealers overseas didn't get any of the early build weeks. My MCSC isn't going to be built until week 13.
Hope you post photos after you get it!

I'm also on the west coast, and mine was a Week 10 build. This is what I know. Car Carrier Vessels will depart three times a week from South Hampton, UK. Your vehicle can leave normally leaves about 5 to 10 days after production has been completed. Mine is travelling on the Topeka vessel, and has left South Hampton on 3/14, and will arrive in PORT HUENEME, CA on 4/5. I'm from the San Francisco area, so that's the cloest port to me. This should give you an idea of when to expect your Mini once it gets loaded on the vessel.

Hey NPNJ,
I was at Prestige on 2/28 too ordering my Mini!!! I'm so excited, I've been tracking my little guy and I was so happy when I found out he was aboard the Don Carlos. I've been searching the boards to get an idea of how long he'll wait at the VDC. Any ideas? I would love for him to be ready this coming Saturday.
I feel like a proud mother, minus the children lol

hektor,
I asked that question to my MA and she said that it typically takes 3 days for it to go through customs and then 4-5 days to get on a truck over to the dealership. I have a feeling it won't take that long because it seems like the numbers are always over estimated. It's nice to know that my baby is now on US soil. Just playing the waiting game now...

Mine is still waiting for the boat (was finished on 4/1). The Vin isnt on the boat cargo tracking yet.
I'm gonna name her either Gizmo or Stripe. But I don't know which!!
It's an MC in Interchange Yellow with black bonnet stripes and black rims. Yellow interior trim, Sport seats, cold package, auto air, manual, usb/bluetooth/ipod, front & rear foggies, chrome trim (I love the roll bars with the chrome).
I hope she picks a boat soon! Got my baby's birth certificate in the mail yesterday.
