Nothing quite like it.

You know when you look outside to see a gloomy grey day. The days where everyone scrambles for their umbrella, but not you. You on the other hand run for your keys, jump in your R57, put the top down and go.

The past two days the weather has been crap around the mid-atlantic. Yesterday I had to work all day so only had two short trips to and from work, both of which with the interior open to the sky above. Today I don't have to go in until 4:00, so I spent some time today just cruising around in the constant rain.

I love the looks that I get from the passers by, or when sitting at a light. They think you are nuts, when you really you are just a motorer at their best. I say let it rain, the occasional drop that gets through is refreshing, the roads are less crowded. Well, most of them at least, the highways are usually jam packed since most people don't know how to drive in the rain.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the sun shining too, but there is a certain something about the cold, wet, rainy days. I can't for winter to fully set it, I want the snows to come this year. I want to motor around in a snow storm too.

Who else out there enjoys when the cloud cover moves in and the rain begins to fall?

No wonder Jeremy, I definitely can't do that. I have the punch leather package. Would that stuff protect the leather as well or just for cloth?

I like riding that way as well. And I do get looks as I have the top down but am wearing a wool cap and scarf ha,ha!!

I have the Tuscan leather and I drive around in drizzle and light rain. Can't help it - been driving convertibles for 25+ years. As long as you are moving minimal water gets inside and I wipe the interior down with a towel if I get stuck. I make sure to raise the top and let it fully dry when I get to the garage. Love the seat heat too
