Coopers S convertible Auto : shaky ride

To all cooper S R56 and R57 drivers with auto transmission : mine can not do stop and go traffic on the motorway : when decelerating and accelerating between 20 to 40 miles /h ; driving in D but in second to fourth gear, engine vibrates like it forgets to apply the clutch, car shakes. It happens more when engine is hot. I took the car to the dealer after the CBC asked for a service (after 5 months ! ) and when reading the carkey the receptionist let me know they needed to do an engine check. After picking up the car, the vibrations with the engine cold did have disappeared. When the engine was at normal temperature, it started all over again !! I have a little bit enough of having a car for 6 months that needed to be turned back to the dealer for already 4 times !! Does anyone had similar experiences and does anyone have a solution ????

Just to let you know the cabrio first gen (before 2009) and the cabrio 2nd gen 2009 on are very different cars.

Cant help with your problem except to say that the dealer needs to fix it. Take one of the techs for a ride when the car is warm so that they can see exactly what you mean.
