Yes, if you take possession of your car before 11/30/10 the up to $1,000 rebate applies after your negotiated price. Have no idea what the will do for December though.

It's looking doubtful I will take delivery in December... I'm still waiting for a production date. Grr.

Yes, the rebates were above what I negotiated for the price of mine. :-)

Here is how mine ended up looking from the configurator. Not sure now about putting the chrome scoop in it. What do you think?

My recent buying experience:

I just purchased a 2011 Pepper White Convertible and was able to take advantage of the $1000 option credit and the 0.9 % financing. In addition, I used the Costco Auto Program and was able to get a significant additional discount off the MSRP.

Can anyone elaborate on how they got the additional 1000 off? I have negotiated my price last month and plan to take delivery on Friday. When I get there do I just ask for it? I'm kinda expecting them to play dumb about it. Also, are ther any specifics of which options qualify for the rebate? Thank you very much fir you speedy replies and have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Both of the MINI dealerships that I visited in Massachusetts had advertised the $1000 option credit on their web sites, but did not clarify as to which options the credit applied. However, both dealerships included the allowance in the price that was quoted. If you're financing and have excellent credit (credit score 740 and above), the 0.9% special over 5 years can be a huge money saver.

squonk, call first and inquire about the 1000 off since you will have better leverage. once you get to the dealer when the car is there, they know that you will more likely buy the car on your negotiated deal even without the 1000 off. i did this and got the extra 1000 off and 0.9% finance on my order. good luck

Confirmed again with my MA that it is up to $1,000 depending on what options you have on the car. I'm getting $750 back for having the Premium Package installed.

My MINI is sitting on the dock at Southampton! I'm expecting it will catch the Falstaff on Dec. 8 and arrive at Port Hueneme on Dec. 29.

My laser Blue convertible is waiting at the dock too, but coming to NYC port. Hope to catch the Fidelio on the 8th. I was able to get 0.9% and 1650 off.

You should try! It's the running special and speak to the floor manager.

By the way, soon you will be CROC member! Welcome!
