Any Ideas on how to bring light to the back?

Greetings all,

Full discloser, by car is on a boat, not sure where it is. That said, my MA did say that the cabrios were very dark in the back because of the lack of an center overhead light.

Anyone done, or read, of any mods to bring light back there without it looking like a MOD?

Thanks! Still waiting!

The cabrios are indeed very dark in the rear seat area from having no center dome light, along with a black interior roof. It can be dark even in the daytime because the enormous cloth C pillar blocks so much light.

Here are some lighting mods for the 1st gen cabrio (R52). The same principles would apply to your R57 cabrio.

I installed side reading lights and added lighting to rear footwells: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...gers-pics.html
