Back in a Mini Again

Hello all, I was on here a few years ago with a 2004 MCS. I never stopped loving the car, I just got bored and went through a couple of other cars and finally realized I wanted a mini again. I just purchased a 2012 MCS Convertible. I really like the car and the turbo is a hoot, but I do miss the whine of the supercharger with reduction pulley. An added plus is that my wife likes it too so I don't have to hear it all the time about my "sports cars". My last car was a 2001 Vette, OMG don't get me started on the list of problems.

The top down at the Dragon was great.

I had 99 C5 and no problems for the first 7k and then sold it for a Audi TT.

Anyway welcome back. Maybe there is a supercharger whine simulator mod out there.

I've put 3,000 miles on it now and still loving it. Just a couple of annoyances like a rattling speaker in the rear and the bluetooth sucks. I'll never use it, but I hate that I paid $500 for it (I think that's what was on the sticker). I've been running midgrade 89 gas and getting 35-37mpg highway. I put in the proclip cell phone mount and I love it. It's really solid and allows me to poke at the phone without it wabbling around. Now I need to order a radar, this thing zips through the mountains like nobody's business.

Nice, I just ordered a Passport 8500 x50. Should work well right behind the mirror with a suction mount.
