I have a 11vert and it takes a while for the air to cool off the car after it sits out in the sun for a while. When i put my hands over the vent in blows fairly cold but not freezing cold. Do you think its normal cause its a vert?
My 2010 doesn't cool that great either. Turn on the air circulation button to make the air blow harder. I don't like leaving it on because it shuts off the outside air. It does help though.
Hey btor and Falcon24! It's a convertible, put the top down. And if you are a little warm (Yesterday, I saw 104) turn the AC on and direct it towards your feet.

I do that too with the air cond and also with the heater on a cold day
We all do that, heat or cool with the top down. There are just some days when the Mini has been in the hot sun all day and I'm leaving work in a tie and long pants. I need cool for awhile. Nothing better than having the top down and the tunes up!!
Yes, I find the AC on my 2010 Convertible to be lacking when the temps get past 90. I roll down the windows to expel the hot air, then once the AC kicks in I put the windows back up and hit the recirculate button. The car never really cools down enough for my ride home though.
