Door Ajar Warning

Taking my oldest to school this morning, kept getting the door ajar icon in the tach, showed the pass door open. Open/shut the door a few times & no change.
Don't see the typical plunger style switch, so guessing the sensor/switch is integrated into the latch? Noticed it also blocks being able to lock the doors via the switch [while the car is running], didn't try to manually lock. Locks fine when off via the remote.
Adding this to the list of things to fix, lower priority to the top, FRM & stereo amp.

Will see if the light comes back when I'm out this afternoon. Maybe a one-off.

2 stops this afternoon & no door light in the tach, hoping just a fluke.

The door switches are integrated into the latch. If you have a BMW/Mini scan tool, you can try to see if there are codes stored for it. Might tell you if something is intermittent.

Thanks, just have a BlueDriver at the moment. Need to run it again & see what codes may still be there now that I have some mileage on it.
