R57 conv top reset how to ?
Hi All - just a quick note to see if I am missing anything:
Background - Taking my 2009 R57 to the stereo shop. Top was working perfectly ( I had not used it the day I went to the shop, but am sure in the last 5 drives )
Stereo shop disconnected battery to hook up power cables to the amp.
After reconnecting battery, top would not work. We tried the window reset ( roll both front windows down and up 3 times, but make sure you hold it on the up position even after closed for 3 - 5 seconds ). Did not work.
Stereo shop had a snap on reader - saw codes a6a0 and a6a1 .. which are soft top relay errors. I thought they cleared them - but reset operation did not work after that too
Checked to make sure the tray was down and the easy hold handles in the trunk are locked.
Still no go.
I did not hear a clicking on the switch on the left side of the tray when depressing, so maybe that went bad ? Can try jumping that ..
Just seems this was caused by disconnecting the battery.
I do get the picture of the mini with the top down and exclamation point and a few chimes when trying to put the top down on the dash. The sunroof does not even open, let alone the top
Any other ideas I can give the audio shop tomorrow ? Does it need to be driven for a few miles and then reset the windows/top ? They need to get the top down to do the rear speakers.
Thanks !

Hello,
Let me know if you tried all the cycling:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t-working.html
Check the fuses and everything. Hall sensors are next and other sensors.
