Cincinnati MINI is having an event this weekend [mainly to push the leftover 2011's] and they are going to have a coupe' there. I am looking forward to seeing it. I am saving myself for the roadster next spring though. We are back down to a single MINI family [my wife has a Countryman S] since my 08 JCW was totaled in a rollover accident in June.

I saw this one at Mini Universal when I bought my MC! It has the same interior as mine!

 

I'm in love can't wait till they launch it here in Egypt!!! The dealer is saying mid next year.... Black outisde and inside that's the perfect combination

It's just an S (not a JCW). You can tell by the lack of the JCW aero kit. Also, I doubt that it's their car since the Coupe does not "officially" go on sale until October 1st. It's probably just one of the pre-production Coupe's that is making the rounds to all of the dealerships.

Another big give away is that it has a dealer license plate on it.

 

Yea I thought so. Obviously I didn't examine very closely.

 

I like it, the only problem is that roof line by the c pillar. It looks so off. Everything else looks great, especially that auto spoiler.

 

Thank you theofficemaven. You got it right. This is the car on display at the mini of Montgomery county, rockville. It's got the biggest trunk of all the minis.

 

Ummm it's not a trunk it's a boot. Please use the proper Mini terminology. People won't know what your talking about.

 

Yes, most blokes will need a torch to find their crisps in that boot for sure.

So did you end up ordering a Coupe because of it?

 

I took the last slot at my MINI dealership and ordered me a Coupe S, Eclipse Gray, Black roof, blk stripes, 17" Conical spoke Blk wheels, piano black interior with blk/beige punch leather. Ordered it on Monday and it should go into production next week. I absolutely loved the look of this when I first saw it and will probably love it even more when I see it in person. Going to be a long, long wait. I sold me PW/B 05 Cooper so I don't even have that to zip around in.... oh well, will be worth the wait.

 

I completely love the squashed front. But I hate the rear end design. It is just awkward.
