Saw the coupe at Irvine Mini this afternoon. It was a black/silver S. As others have said, pictures do not do this vehicle justice. So much better up close and personal.

Roomy inside, very much like a "regular" cooper in the front area. Getting in and out may take some extra caution for some folks. I am 6 foot, more long legged than torso. I banged my head a couple of times, until I lowered the seat all the way.

The mortaring advisor that drove the car from Crevier to Irvine was quite impressed. He said a much different experience than other coopers due to the shape of the cockpit.

Now....come on week 39!!!!! That boat ride over is going to seem like forever!!

I still haven't seen the Coupe even though it visited nearly all the MINI dealerships in Florida except mine. I won't see one until they get their three demos, whenever that is.

I haven't seen it either. But I'm sure I will like it just fine. Thanks for giving some more information.

Same one that did the rounds at MINI of Ontario. In person is a much better experience.

Hey that is great news. I hope you are able to do that soon. It would be nice to get another first hand report. And these would be true production cars right? Not the touring cars that were making there way across the country?

The PNW is the orphan child of MINI and from what I have heard there is little chance to see one of the demo Coupes up here. Love seeing all the reviews though from those that have.

These are showroom Coupes that a dealer could choose to sell, I was told.

Thanks for the shot jamesday24. Almost a preview of my garage, change the Coupe to a silver roof and bring the GP 4th lift front and center and it would feel like home in the not distant future hah.

I thought that picture was one of the better ones I have seen. The blue color does the car some justice.

This is still the best looking photo of a blue Coupe that I've seen to date (by a long shot):

Yes that shot is excellent. The other being in the shop without proper lighting etc. makes for a tough photo opp.

I just got home from Orlando MINI where they had two Coupes on display: a MB/S MINI Cooper Coupe and a LB/B MCS Coupe. Here's some some requested photos for you all.

Question

Thanks for the great pics James.

The black coupe, it is a justa + options? The tach and speedo faces are black, I thought that was only for the JCW? I don't see it in the options sticker on the window.

Any way to get the black faces for the S Coupe?

No, they aren't black, they just look dark in the photos?

The window sticker was for the MB/S Justacoupe. Nearly $10,000 in options!

Indeed! Thanks James for all of the great pictures.

So is that your wife/girlfriend in the photo? She goes great with the MB Coupe in her long black dress.

Man these cars are expensive. I think If I were buying a Justacoupe it would be justa the bare minimum to keep the price down. Otherwise you might as well go S at minimum. Guess it all depends on the dough you have and how you want to spend it.

When I bought my 2004 MINI Cooper, I wasn't interested so much in performance, so I put my money into premium options like Panther Black Profile leather seats, Premium Package, Harman/Kardon stereo, leather shift boot and handbrake covers, etc. Even then it was under $21,000!

So this time I went for performance with the JCW and kept it basic except for the H/K stereo which is a must-have. I probably would have paid $1,000 for the Lounge Leather seats but not $2,000.
