The photos are great. Thanks for taking and posting those. It is helpful to see photos so I can imagine just how cool all these coupe will be when they are on the streets.

I think these really look better with the silver roof rather than black.

Jut got an email from my dealer that they are ready to schedule test drives. So the demo cars are arriving for sure.

Got a call from my MA today and they received 2 demo Coupes today. Hopefully I will be able to swing down there after work or tomorrow and take a look at them. Looking forward to it. Also, my Coupe has finally made it to the port so it should be on the Asian King leaving Southampton on 9/27.

Big congrats Tcassa on making it to port first off. Look forward to seeing what you think of the coupe in person too. Know one thing for sure if the Asian King sinks the entire west coats is going to cry out at once lol.

Yes, it's great to finally see them in person even if they aren't the model or color you ordered.

Happened to be driving past the dealership this afternoon and out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a Lightning Blue/Black coupe sitting out in front.....just off the carrier. Good thing there wasn't a car in front of me or there would have been an accident! LOVE that body color. Getting quite amped......could be motoring by next weekend.

If anyone's interested, Hendricks here in Charlotte has a JCW coupe thats available for $38000. I was holding off on ordering a JCW tune kit for my MCS until I checked out the new coupe. Was there yesterday , looked, sat in it and then ordered the kit for my MCS. The coupes just not my cup of tea

Went out to the newest of the Chicagoland Mini dealerships, Tinley Park Mini. They have two S Coupes that are available for test driving. I took one for a spin with my son and then came back and took another test drive with my daughter. It was a blast! I could not believe the what a great ride the coupe has. And the acceleration in the S was incredible. The JCW must be insane! I know that we made the right decision moving from a hatchback to the coupe. My kids had that smile on their faces for hours.
Waiting for our coupe to be built may feel like eternity but the thrill today has made me even more excited.

I also test-drove an MCS Coupe today. The car was very quick and handled well. Visibility was better than expected, but I did lower the seat all the way to see better to the rear. I pre-traded my FIAT 500 and got pre-approved through MINI, but will check other financing as well. Now I still have to wait until November for my JCW Coupe to arrive.

I was also impressed with the visibility. I thought it would be much worse. All I needed was a little adjustment to the mirrors and seat. Backing up was fine too.
Jumbo there was no waiting list since it's a new dealership. They are fully functional they just need to finish the front fascia. It's been great working with the people at this dealership. I wasting come back to test drive anytime I feel like it since it will be a while to get the one I have on order. I may need to go back weekly!

Posted my impressions here
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...3-post378.html

I actually thought the rear visibility was pretty bad - But it isn't as bad as a Cabrio I think. Likewise the side blind spots I think are actually pretty good due to the curved type back end rear glass and shortness of the car itself.

Like both of these color combos, especially the return of Lightning Blue

I like those as well but prefer the black top with the Chile Red body. The black stripes on the red and the red stripes on the black look awesome.

I got the chance to head up to NW MINI today and meet up with Brad (my MA) and take the a Lighting Blue/Black JCW coupe for a drive. Was interesting after driving up my GP. Lots of things I noticed some that went each way. Very impressed with the Coupe looks in person and once lowered think its going to be a serious toy. Best part of the day was I chased the JCW with ,my wife and Brad in the GP and could tell its a good comparison. Then we switched up and they chased me back in the GP. I came around a corner at lets say decent speed and whats rolling down the street at me but a local officer who gives me a warning finger wave lol.

Looking forward to getting our Coupe in and then setting down and doing a full comparison between what I think are the two most compelling sports products from MINI to date.

Yes you can get golf clubs in the back of the cooper. Also any one that wants a lot of chrome can have that added. ski

Saw my first today. Just came in. Sadly, it was damaged in transit. The dealership was hoping to surprise our local club and bring it out on this weekend's run...
