I was really curious to see how a black r58 coupe would look like so here is a quick photoshop of one. I grabbed an existing photo from motoringfile and used simple photoshop tools. I'm definitely not an expert so don't destroy me on the imperfections. :P

Looks good in black, but there is one issue with the photoshop.

The coupe comes with non-matching roof (standard). So there would need to be a different color applied to the roof of the car (probably silver or white to follow Mini color schemes)

 

They're really not offering matching roof colors?!? I haven't researched online about that information but is that a final decision?

I read that as well. And it makes no sense.....but would not be a "deal breaker."

I would just pay a visit my local paint shop.....

Midnight Black is the only color you can order with a body-color roof.
