I wish I could talk to a live rep on ASKMINI on the weekends :( haha

EDIT: Just curious to those who are at the port/on a boat..

Does ASKMINI still say 'Your vehicle is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier'?

That's what mine said prior to me checking to see if it was on a boat. ( Last time I called Friday.)

I just called and ask mini says "your vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel".

Mine said that as well all day yesterday when I could clearly see the confirmation on WW that my VIN was on the boat and the boat was in the middle of the Channel.

Yup, Ask Mini is pretty much a waste of time. Rarely is it right.

When you are tracking your WW ship on the map be ready when it gets south of Anvil Point. It may suddenly look like it is at anchor. However, it seems all WW ships stop tracking at that point. At least the two others that have passed that point in the last six hours. Just trying to save someone else the same anxiety that I had last night.

It's at this point that I quit tracking the car. I know how long it takes within a day or two. Unless the boat sinks I try to relax now before the final stage. PH delivery and truck shipment to the dealer. Once the dealer gets it I still have to wait for the 3M Invisishield to be installed. The dealer does not do it. It's actually sent out.

Nice looking color combination. I love the color combination. Have you ever been to the Mini Pub Meet in Cleveland? I have wanted to go in the past but never did. Not sure where/when in 2012 since the Pub is closed but hopefully something will pop up. I went to Case so I enjoy the Cleveland/Cleveland Heights area 2x per year.

jamesday - your production number is still the largest of the batch even after kbeaner who put an order in before. I'm guessing your dealership slotted you in for a later production slot.

No. The dealer does have several Coupes on the inventory sheet with week 39 and 40 builds but they are Cooper Coupes and Cooper S Coupes. I still have the only JCW Coupe ordered from them.

Welcome to the Coupe.
Trading in a 2011 Camaro. What happened? Man you must be taking a haircut on that deal?

I know I got a little shave on my 2009 MCS sale.

Anyway, welcome aboard. I hope your buying process goes well for you.

Regards,

Pat

I guess you're destined to run this thread and keep track of all the Coupe purchases. Once you got your new car the thread will probably go to H&*& in a hand basket.

They weren't doing Pub Meets when I had my old MINI. I also lived in Stow at the time, so it was a bit of a drive. I will probably hook back up with the club when I get my new Coupe.

A little haircut, about $1K. I live very close to where I work, so it only has 8800 miles on it. It also needs the front bumper replaced where some jerk backed into me (and didn't leave a note of course). Cracked the whole bumper and spiderwebbed the paint. Trading in a Camaro before winter in Ohio doesn't go too well haha. I got them to add in some $ since they wouldn't discount the Coupe.

I have had 3 different cars in the last 3 years, just haven't been happy. I get to drive race cars for work, so if I ever miss a muscle car, one's not far away.

I'm very excited, as I'm sure all of us are. Be sure to post a picture when you receive yours, since we're color twins.

Nice build. Your interior is all JCW to the max! Should look really great!
I wish I could have gone with the black headlight housings but I didn't want to loose the adaptive headlights.

Thanks Cred, it should be a decent look, think you EG/CR is going to look sweet too. Can understand the decision but for me personally the black headlamps are just to good looking. Once they come out also putting the new JCW Coupe spoiler and black taillight housings on the car. Also considering putting the JCW interior door handle on the car. Before rolling the car out from the dealer will have them pull the tires and mount up my winter tires onto the 17" Challenge rims, then come spring I will be putting my new set of OZ's on the car.
