Driving the Coupe!

So this weekend I'm driving the new Coupe to a mini event in Atlanta. Driving back from the dealership was fun and I think anyone who has ordered the coupe will not be disappointed, with the exception of the tall people. I'm 5'8" and the car felt perfect but my brother in law is 5' 11" and felt like he didn't have much room left as the passenger. The S coupe was nimble and quick compared to my 05 MCS and my wife's 06 MCS with pulley, exhaust, and CAI. Anyway I've had a smile on my face all night after driving it! Props to MINI for doing it again!

Most people are interested from when I drove one.. They look because they don't know what it is yet. That is what I saw when test driving one.

Also I'm 6'0" and had no issue with headroom. Should tell your bro to lower the seat.. They have height adjustments on both seats.

I am 6'1" and had tons of headroom. The coupe was a blast!

The Coupe was a hit at the B-day for ATL MINIs

I think you're right about the head and leg room. Other tall folks at the event adjusted the seat and felt like they had plenty of room.

On the road I noticed many people doing the double take because they didn't recognize the car as a MINI. Got a couple of thumbs up from onlookers and some random MINIs that were not part of the club even joined our motoring party just to get a better look.

At the event, many MINI people commented on how much they liked the look of the car almost in a surprised way! I guess I like it in person much better too. Great event....but even a better MINI. I was sad to bring it back to the dealership. Thanks MOSA and Atlanta MINIs for a great event and fun filled day.

I'm still impressed with how quick and fun the Coupe was to drive.
