Meet Newton

Last night (11/15/2011) I finally picked up my MINI JCW Coupe. I already know I'm going to love this MINI as much as much other one. Here are some quick phone photos. Will take better ones soon.

Thanks everyone, for helping me get through the wait. Enjoying all the Coupe talk.

Sweet looking car! I wasn't sure I liked the coupe when I first saw it, but have definitely changed my mind on that. Love those wheels.

I have always liked the photos from when the MINI Coupe Concept was shown. I ordered it sight-unseen. It looks even better in person.

James your car is set up nicely. I love the side view mirror caps. Glad you finally have it in your driveway after such a long delay.

Great job on the choices you've made at making your Coupe unique...
it is simply beautiful !

Adding tint will be a great touch!

Sweet ride James. I'm in the same boat. I love my car. Would you agree the little bugger is fast? Much quicker than I anticipated.

I too ordered sight unseen. I was finally able to drive one a couple weeks before delivery. I'm glad I did, it just confirmed what I thought.

I have been remiss in getting pictures online. I will try to do that this weekend. I don't plan any mods on my car either except what I have done already. I am leaving the antenna as is for now but I did get the windows tinted and it looks awesome. I also did the Invisishield on the car which is real nice.

I like the wheels James. At first I wasn't too keen on them but my goodness those look pretty darn good.

It's a great ride and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.

Pat

Nice spec, those wheels look excellent. Funny, the side by side pic from the rear shows one design element I really don't like on the current Mini: the tail lamps. They are too wide/big for the car, the chrome trim is too heavy handed compared to the R50/53.

Love the silver hat with the black jack mirror caps. Just flashy enough.

Love it! Makes me wish I shelled out for the valve caps! Every new Coupé I see makes me more and more eager for mine to get here!

My Coupe came with really nice "S" valve caps on its Challenge spoke rims (very similar to James' black jack ones). Is that now standard practice on all MINIs, or are they something my dealer put on I wonder?

Wow, side by side it definitely looks sportier. The valve caps are surprisingly awesome! I thought they were too small to be worth getting but I like it a lot. The Black Jack fits with the car Your rims are niiiiice.

The Black Jack valve stem caps didn't come with the car, I bought them at the time of delivery. It's a small detail in my overall theme.

Sweet! That's the first MB coupe I've seen, and it is the next-level business!!! Major props, James, you did well!

I like the valve stem caps, that was the first thing I did when I picked up my hatch was to add new caps!

My car did not come with any special caps. Plain jane black. Maybe it's something your dealer did. If it is I think that is cool and a good way to show appreciation to a customer that pays there salary.
