The fog light portion is the actual fog light bulb and socket installed at the factory. The LEDs have a battery terminal lead and a ground as well as a polarity bulb holder. Pretty simple install following the enclosed instructions. You have to have the factory fog lights pre installed for them to work without reprogramming and there is a slightly different version for the 2011+ cars versus other 2nd generation cars.
