LORDVDR: The ALL4 R58 Project
It started 3 1/2 years ago with a fully loaded Midnight Black R58s (minus Navigation, cuz really...who needs Navigation in cars anymore...right?). The eventual goal will be the world's one and ONLY fully functional ALL4 R58S. No one has done it...and no one will; except me. Follow my build.
I'm going to update this post to include all the performance and aesthetic items I currently have installed or altered. There will be more photos uploaded soon. I will also be outlining all the phases that will happen in the future. Feel free to leave suggestions and comments.
Something worth noting: The car has been hand signed by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, himself. I am in the process of getting it professionally authenticated.

Do you suggest any type of internal work or a specific company?

People seem to go with Carrillo rods, and I like Malhe powerpak pistons. Also upgrade the fasteners to ARP. Look at getting the cylinder support system too. It's discussed in the thread linked below. But read OldBrokenWind thread and build:

Thanks! Do you know of anyone that has experience in basically making a FWD vehicle into a 4WD? lol
I'm actually looking to not only make it ALL4...but give it the ability to switch into FWD/RWD/or ALL4. Would really love to drift and absolutely destroy a track with it. When it's done it'll be the baddest MINI of all time. (in my opinion)
There are so many epic MINIs I've seen over the years...none of them are variable with the FWD/RWD/AWD. I think it could be done. The question is how and who and HOW MUCH. The last question is the easiest...a lot.

Update 11/5/16: In talks with a few different companies and individuals. So far great responses. I have a few conversations set for this upcoming week to discuss specifics. I'll keep you all posted.
(Side Note: Just got offered a JCW Coupe Spoiler for $375. [with some scratches on it.] They normally sell for like $700-$800. It would need compounding, sanding, paint, and was thinking about wrapping it in Carbon Fiber.) Sounds like a fun project.
