I have a 2015 R58. Had an issue with the upper left brake lamp being intermittent. Fixed that problem (I think) but when testing with the scan tool I could not get all the lamps to light. Pressing the brake pedal all five lamps come on. Two lamps left, two right, and the center "third" brake light. The scan tool is a Foxwell 530. There are three active test options. First lights the top lamps right and left. Second lights the bottom lamp right and left. The third test allows me to individually light each of the five lamp. The tests that light the upper lamps does not work. Again, pressing the brake pedal all lamps light. Wondering if I am overlooking something on the tests or if the NT530 has a bug in the test routine for the brake lamps? Anyone else use a scan tool to run brake lamp tests?
