I just jumped right in and didn't join the roll call! I'm Jen. Oscar is my second MINI. Before this, I had an '06 MCS (HB/B). Oscar is a MB/MB Coupe S. He had 243 miles on him when I bought him and he's up to 290 now. I'm lamenting that I only work two miles from home - making this break in period seem sooooooo long.

Oscar and I will be at MTTS, motoring from NJ to Nashvhille and home again. I may have met some of you at The Dragon and I'm looking forward to meeting even more of you at MTTS.

Just bought a "used" (2000 miles) JCW 2012 Coupe. Lightning Blue and just about everything on it. LOVE the car. Thinking of the working ram air unit from DDM....
This is my 3rd MINI. 2003 MINI Cooper S (bought new), 2008 MINI cabrio, now the 2012 used JCW Coupe.

This weekend I say goodbye to my '02 Cooper S, which I think was #167 of the production line and hello to my new '12 JCW Coupe. The deal was just too sweet to pass up. No complaints, 10 years of hugely enjoyable motoring which I hope to replicate with the new ride.

Lightning Blue/Black Roof, Black interior with Alloy trim and accents, Punch leather seats, CWP, HK Stereo, Bluetooth, Chrome line, Halogens, White turn signals, Arm-rest, Sports Suspension and JCW Strut.

Sounds like my car's twin! Wonderful car (Had mine a week).

 

I am a newbie and have had my 2012 Coupe S gray with black strips fully loaded.......for about 6 weeks now, ordered just the way I wanted it with everything. BUT hate the chrome and want to get all the chrome blacked out, anyone know of anywhere I can get the grill, headlight bezels tail light bezels, window trim and door handles? I want it all together so it matches. I really love this car so far and he had some high expectations to live up to my other vehicle!

 

Picked him up Saturday and have been having fun. Changed out the antenna for a Craven Stubby and replaced the plate lighte with PIAA LED, my old 02 the incandecent lights caused the handle plastic to crack, and I don't want to deal with that again. Only downside is the computer is throwning a light error now because of the lower impedance of the LEDs. Oh well!

 

I am getting the new clear/black tail lights with LED, hoping I dont get the same code......I know changing the bulbs only can give some issues like that but wondering it doing the entire assembly will give me the same problem. Nice looking ride BTW!

That looks great! I am waiting for the black out stuff to come available at the dealership, but have ordered the caps for door handles and the scuttles as well.

Ordered my MCS Coupe on 5/10, took delivery on 6/30 (the day after getting back from our honeymoon! what a great welcome-home treat!). BRG with pretty much all the options... Replaced my beloved '03 MCS (also BRG!).

Now just getting up to speed on almost 10 years worth of updated technology!
