Here's my first pic
I finally broke down and bought this laptop, so now I have a way to upload some pics of my beloved '12 Roadster!
It has almost 16,000 miles and drive it every day..yes even in Wisconsin winters.
This is an early shot taken at my Mini dealer in early June of '12, but I will ad more as time allows.
So far besides the red mirror caps and red stripe accent, I have also added a carbon stubby antenna, red lug covers, red brake ducts, and "GO Badges" front and rear.
My wife and I are enjoying this car to no end and have found more fun roads in Wisconsin than we knew there were...the kind with the "twisties" ya know!
We are presently making plans to drive to "The Dragon" this May, but are unable to make the MOTD '13 event due to schedule conflicts...perhaps next year!
Thanks for looking

Got my Redlinegoods headrest covers yesterday. Really well made, I'm surprised we didn't tear them as we fought to get them on, but they look great. The colour is a bit lighter than I thought, but I think it works well. I have the leather/cloth interior with the JCW accents (wheel, gear/handbrake boots) and I chose the colour to try to match those rather than the near-black of the seats. I still need to get the final positioning done to get the last wrinkles out but I like the results. The cabin seems a bit lighter now, and the leather goes with the leather on the seats more than the black shiny cloth did.

Here is my 2013 JCW Roadster, named MightyBee. MINIBee, my 2006 Cooper Convertible is still with me and now stays in a private room at a retirement facility. I take her out 1-2 times a month to play.
MightyBee was originally Chili Red and Black but I quickly gave him the Visine treatment (to get the red out). He's coming along nicely although there is still much to do. He should be in pretty good form by MOTD 11.
Coming up soon: New wheels with custom paint and yellow calipers. Also making custom side scuttles and door sills using the MightyBee logo (below) designed by my son.

I see it sitting in the snow, but I don't see any snow on the tires or in the wheel wells. Are you sure you are actually driving it in the snow? Only kidding, I've driven mine a couple of times in snow and it did fine. Last week when we had heavy snow, though, I opted for my 4WD Ram 1500. Glad I did.

Andy,
How does your car handle the 2-4 inches of heavy , slushy snow... Like last Sunday morning in North Central Mass .... Didn't take the Bimmer out, would have a tough time in the crap mentioned above ... Has to use my wife's Volvo... Truly, if all season tires on the roadster can handle this, then you really don't need winter wheels, tires... Even though I know it would be better... My Honda CRXsi absolutely sucked in snow... Needed the winter wheels / tires.... Then it became a tank...
Spiney .... Maybe you can respond to this, too....
Best,
John
Still no news about my roadster ..
