Better than the R59? That's an interesting claim. I found the R52 to be a bit wallowy, like it's chassis couldn't live up to its suspension. Not something I noticed during my R59 test drives, though maybe it will become more obvious once I'm lining with it every day.

+1. The extra bracing in the R59 makes a huge difference. No comparison.

Never driven an R52, but R59 is markedly superior to my R53.

I disagree...R52/R53 jusr handles better from stock...now if you do mods to the suspension...I do agree the R59 would handle better...I have had six Minis.

Compared to the R53, I actually agree, though I prefer the slightly more refined feel of the second generation cars. But the R52 was a very different beast. It shared the raw and visceral feel of the first gen cars overall, but added to it a wobbly nature that undercut its sporting pretensions.

The r59 ? It gets better everyday. Mine is stock and does just fine, it's gets better in every way from my hatch, which does surprise me. All except fuel mileage.

Our website notes that the Black Jack and Union Jack interior Mirror trim covers do NOT fit the R58 and R59- I do not recall talking to anyone at the Dragon and describing the cover as a universal fit.

Hi Arron, if you read the post you are referring to #118 I said I was looking for the CHROME KIT. 127 some odd pieces. I'll try and refresh your memory I asked if you had set in chrome for roadster you said you'd have it there next day and you had a kit next day in chrome. You said that they pretty much fit all the cars. You allowed me to go through box and we discussed the contents. You agreed that the kits do not have the open air meter, I realized at that point that because ( at least on my car tach and open air are attached) I would have to wait for one that would actually fit.

As for the rear view mirror cover I purchased from your company before you updated the website. As you still had r59 listed as the speedster. There was no mention that it would not fit r58+59.

I had ordered cover before my car was delivered and kept the product because I was way past date for return upon delivery.

Nice ride! I am sure that you enjoyed the Dragon. Hopefully you got to hang out with some of the Metroplex Mini folks.

By the way, just rolled over 1,000 miles today. Also, the state of Iowa is not enthralled about no front license plates. Got a warning yesterday and told to get it on immediately. I showed him that I had it behind the seat, but he wasn't impressed.
