Thank you all. 2" is a little bit lower that I expected however the ride is much more controllable than the stock sport suspension. Experienced with H&R touring kit on R53 MCS, then the KW V2 on my ex R53 JCW, the H&R sport kit perform right in between these two. It is remain some level of comfort at the same time increase much more on the high speed stability. I also add the Alta sway bar THAT make a great difference during hard cornering. TSW x brace is on back order, that should be a great addition for the suspension upgrade.

Looks great, which cup kit did you use? Only see the H&R Street performance coil-overs for the R58 / R59.

If I went this low I'd need to repave my driveway just to get to the street! Looks great!

Gen2 Conv share the same part number, H&R Sport Cup Kit. The shocks are made by KONI.

It is a very aggressive 2" drop however it still have enough clearance to go in and out of any drive way. It looks much lower in pictures. I will post more picture once the suspension settle in. The ride so far is acceptable, and the cornering are much more enjoyable.

It's not an approach angle thing for me, it's longitudinal ruts. I live behind a couple of other houses that are on the street, and I have a long driveway past my neighbour's horse paddock that's a bit past it's best and has a large "hump" along the middle for fifty feet or so. My wife's old Beetle convertible used to touch at one point almost every time unless she put one wheel on the hump and one wheel in the grass, which of course she hardly ever remembered to do, and my kids who also drove her car NEVER did! The MINIs don't scrape at the moment. One day I'll look to see how much clearance I do have. Of course, we also have fair bit of snow here too, not sure where you are.

The black strip between the upper and lower grill. What is that, TG? S.S.S. (sorry so stupid). Is it the keystone? Pennsylvania is the keystone state you know.

. . . yes I know...

It's a piece of high quality black vinyl.
I'm just trying it for a while.
When I first saw the cooper S design I always thought that area was a little strange. The reason is that I know it was design to fit a Euro license plate nicely... Since I don't have one (and I'm not a fan on having a fake one :p) I wanted to make that area more streamlined. It also accentuate the brake vent a little I think...
Like I said, I'm trying it and if I found I like it better after it's on there for a while I'll just leave it there

If you moved to Illinois, you could mount a big ugly license plate with a nice portrait my cousin Abraham Lincoln on it instead.

Congrats on your new Roadster, Goes. Don't forget to get all those bugs off when you get back to Omaha.
