This looks promising. The boys at IND/A&L sent a phone pic of the EV5's back from the powder coaters in their new color...

The PC certainly transformed the character of those wheels. They're going to look superb, particularly with the new trim you've been integrating.

Thanks Gary, I'm pretty exited about it. You work things out in your head, but the results aren't always as expected.

I will run these as my winter set, switching my Conti DWS's on them. Not ready to give up my summer tires just yet...these will go on when the temps drop into the 40's

Are you certain that the Conti DWS will have enough traction of the amount of snow we get here in Chicago?

I ran them last winter with good results. They are not a dedicated snow tire, but in light snow, they work quite well.

In the last few years, our winters have consisted of a low to moderate percentage of "light snow." I'm more concerned about these tires getting me home with road of 2" to 4" inches, which I've seen many time.

Blacklines Installed

I got the rear Blacklines installed today...really loving the look of these. The install was very easy, simple plug and play. It ties it all together very nicely...

Looks so damn good! I'm going to order some today. Were you able to get just the taillights and not the kit?

Thanks I ordered mine from ECS Tuning as the kit, as I was told you cannot get the lights separately.

I'm speaking fairly honestly. I've had a respectable legal career as an Army JAG, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, GSA Litigation Attorney, and criminal defense lawyer. But, other than academics or sales, I cannot fathom doing anything else. I'm minimally functional on a computer, incapable of assembling a mere tricycle, and not very astute in the sciences. No musical or artistic talent whatsoever. In retrospect, I could probably run a snack bar outside court hours.

I guess we can be assured that the "Snack Bar" would be legit.

Steven,

Sometimes it takes me a while to really notice something, but your head and tail light rims really do a great job of matching the lower grey on the lower portion of your car, and mine for that matter. Doesn't look like you've just added another color. Love the look, especially on a black car.
