I've seen two roadsters and one coupe.... This Austin-Healey 3000 was parked next to my roadster the other day...

Mr. T.,

Any chance this was you (or a close friend)? https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-post2790.html

You're the only other roadster I know of around here in black.

Since you used the term "she," I don't think so. Besides, that would have been a Monday and I usually work Mondays.

So last night, during rush hour, I see this MINI coming in my rear view mirror, I was not in the mini at the time.
I'm thinking, I'm in luck, neat, finally a sighting.
It approaches closer and closer when I noticed the folded soft top sticking out on the sides . . . it was simply a convertible. No roadster around so far .

Not really surprised at the lack of sightings. The Roadster doesn't sell as well as the Hardtop, or most models for that matter. We should take solace in the fact that we are a rare breed.

Hi all. I'm a new..ish owner (2 months & counting - No intro thread yet). I wonder how many Roadsters there are not yet sold on all continents. I do like the fact that we are a rare breed like the gentleman above says. . Besides my own I have spotted a BRG Roadster around the Los Altos, CA area while getting grocery in another friend's R56. And in our club, Silicon Valley Minis, there are roughly 5 Roadsters that I know of. Have seen a pearl white/red stripes in the Morgan Hill area.

My wife are on The Big Island in Hawaii for a late summer vacation. No Roadster sightings yet (4th day here) and none listed on CL either. Nearest Mini dealer is 2 islands away so the few minis we've seen probably cost the owners a few $ to ship! We're always scheming how to get a summer place near Kona. If we ever manage that we'll probably ship our 2013 Cooper S Roadster over here...might be the only one on the island.

Aloha! I graduated from USF in Tampa, but in my 3rd year spent a semester at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Quite the experience! Honolulu is a far cry from Kona, but we still had a lot of fun (particularly on the North Shore).

How about that...
MINI roadster are quite rare around here but this week I saw our first one on the road.
It was an orange one, black strips, top up. It snowed this week so I can't blame her

Still no sightings for me. I heard the rumor that other Roadsters exist, but someone said they only appear during during an occasional blue moon.

I heard last week that there was another Roadster in town. Sitting at a light on Saturday, I looked over and saw a twin. Another Eclipse Grey Roadster was crossing in front of me. We both gave a wave and a beep. Hope to meet the owner with such excellent taste in cars someday.

I finally saw a second Memphis roadster a couple of months ago. Externally, it was nearly identical to mine, but with black stripes instead of silver. Didn't get close enough to compare interiors.

No Roadster sightings in my section of Northern Virginia. I did get my first wave (thumbs up gesture) yesterday from another Pepper White MINI. That's it since October 2013.

Roadsters are actually hard to come by here in SoCal. I was lucky to find my low mileage 2012 Roadster S. I have had it about a month.

In that time I have seen several other roadsters, including my twin :-(. Most were red or black. I also saw 1 JCW.

Mini's are quite popular here, see them everywhere. Usually 5-10 or more R53/R56 on my commute to work alone. More Countrymen than Coupe's or Roadsters. Even saw a couple of Pacemans out there.

I've seen a few more in the last couple months in So. Cal. There's a white/silver roadster I've passed several times while I'm on my way home (Madera Rd. from T.O. > Simi Valley; it's going Simi > TO). I also had a great experience at a stoplight on Rancho Conejo Rd. in Thousand Oaks; pulled up on a metallic or highclass gray roadster; I was in my highclass gray roadster and had time to shout "nice car" and get a smile before the light turned.

I got mine july 4th with 12 mi on it (fresh off the boat!!). I probably saw her arrive considering I'm at the South end of Oxnard CA. "Roxy" is a stealth R59 all eclipse Grey and Black. May have seen ScottyM around cause I wave to all the Coopers I see but mine's the only Roadster out here - - - so far! LOL! I had a 3 way convo with a guy in are car on my left and a bicyclist on Pleasant Valley road who were asking what she was. THAT was weird!!!

Here in Eastern Iowa, Roadsters are "about as scarce as hen's teeth," as my dad would say. Ferraris are more common around here than Roadsters. I've never seen another one in the flesh (other than at Eastern Iowa Mini club events. See pic from last weekend...photo taken by Gil-galad. His R59 is in front, mine is behind.)

Lots of Roadsters at MTTS in Bethlehem and Boston, but I'm not really counting those.

I did see a nice pepper white with black stripes locally recently though.
