I've had my car for a little while now, and I haven't seen another Roadster driving around at all. A few Countrymen, LOTS of Clubmen, but zero Roadsters.
The only one I have seen is mine! But then I don't see that many MINIs in my area of northwest Virginia. And when I do, I frantically wave, usually without any acknowledgement.
No, I've had a lot of curious Mini owners craning their heads for a good look at mine, but yet to pass another Roadster.
Same here. An older couple at a stop light shouting over "That's a beautiful car! What is it?" And people in other MINIs in the area gawking. Or I've caught a glimpse in the rear view mirror of someone on the sidewalk excitedly pointing at my receding Roadster. But so far, no other Roadsters sighted on the road.
Nope....but I have started to see a regular hatch JCW with the same exact color scheme as mine, even has the same exact wheels, LOL. Just about every day we get off the interstate and drive to downtown side by side, haha.
I live in Oklahoma and have not seen any other Roadsters. I see very few MINIs at all around town. My Roadster was the first or second one sold by the only dealer in the state. When I was in Seattle a few weeks ago, I spotted a lot of MINIs, but mostly 4-seat hardtops....didn't see any Roadsters there.
Saw my first other roadster today...looked like one of the launch cars, was in Lexington (where I work). Sadly, I wasn't in my roadster so no chance to pull along side and give the thumbs up :-(
Have seen one other in San Diego. Red S with black stripe. Only seen one coupe, and its in my neighborhood, blue with silver top. We are in our second week of ownership. SD MINI was telling me when we picked up our car that the first run Roadsters are pretty much spoken for. They have three builds approved with no production spots. Don't know if anyone else had heard this. We were told our BRG was the third R59 sold to someone in San Diego. They are moving more than that, but to people outside of SD.
Nope, none. The guy down the street has a R58. Only see 1 or 2 MINIs a day... three if the guy at work with the A4 drives his Countryman to work instead. An Audi and a Countryman, man I need a raise.
Haven't seen another Roadster yet. Evidently there's only about eight in the Denver area at the moment. Sort of fun to have a relatively exclusive car for a while!
My dealer (Rockville MD) told me they are extremely limiting the dealer allocations, they only had four and were told no more until next year. Besides the Dragon where we had 6 I have never seen one on the road. In the DC area we have thousands of Minis, on any given day I see two dozen or more on my way to work, have never seen another roadster. I also wonder what the make-up is, how many base, S and JCW models they imported.
I've had mine for a week and haven't seen any here since I ordered it -- in Los Angeles, no less. My dealer told me that the allotment was one S per mo. per dealer.

The sales manager chick at my dealer also told me she liked my hair... I had just rolled out of bed to test drive the Roadster, SO... might have been a sales line... or like my MA told me, it is a "limited production" MINI. Only a few people at BMW probably know the truth.
