300hp Mini Countryman S R60 Manic Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade - Daily Driven

Hi everyone,

My name is Yosia.
As a new member I am going to share my car modification list, dyno result and pictures.
This car has been daily driven since my last modification. Top speed, WOT and sudden accelerating are often done since speed limit in my country is not enforced.
Some custom modifications were done such as tube adapter for coilovers (using R60 Coiover won't lower the car this much with good ride and more shock strut travel).
Some radius cut and paint were done in order to lower this car without rubbing with only -1.00 camber rear and mild stiff setting, no more chewing tires with car sitting low. This car drives really good, comfortable, no rubbing at all, and been running around 35.000 kilometers so far with ZERO problem.

Hope my post can inspire some users here.

Thank you
Yes the power is fun and the most important thing is this car is reliable with this setup (NOT a single issue) for 2 years and 30.000km so far.

Hey, Yosia.
I was curious how often you drive aggressively. Everything I've read, people seem to blow a cylinder above 21psi boost. It's interesting that you haven't had any issues without beefing up internals, getting 300HP.

I'm just starting the planning phase on trying to hit that number and have been planning on forged pistons/rods and possible head work to ensure I don't over power components. Traditional engines build always seem to do upgrades such as this when they are looking to increase HP by ~60%.

On a personal note, I really wish there was big cam option for the N18. I'd love to know what that engine would sound like with a big idle lope. lol. But that's just the teenager in me

Hi there
Well, how aggressively? Well here in Indonesia there is NO speed limit enforced EVERYWHERE. No defect notice (you can FREELY drive extreme loud cars like open header, or really low cars, mexiflush, etc), no emission control, no limit in modifications here.
The speed limit is written on the sign but nobody and the police not paying any attention to that.
I often drive long WOT on highway, and almost WOT every traffic light turn green.
Sport mode is always on (love the pop and bang sound all day), traction is always off.
Sometimes manual with sport mode and traction off.
WOT is really really really often.
I lived in Bogor, it is 45 minutes from Jakarta and the city is not so crowded like Jakarta so that I can speed up and WOT in my city A LOT. I drive to Jakarta twice a week and ALWAYS hit 240-250km/h speed on the evening on the way home.
Well it can be said my car is being "tracked" almost everyday.
My tuner said the N14 engine could not do this horsepower and torque with stock internal, but the N18 like ours are capable. And what he said is been proven by me so far. Only use 98 octane, do oil change and oil filter every 5.000kms and carbon clean every 10.000kms. And sometimes I need to add top up 80ml oil almost every 3.500kms.
The oil I am using is the genuine mini engine oil from mini dealer.
