Not really happy that my order was delayed for 3 weeks only to have MINI ultimately delete the option from order anyway. Plus, I am going to lease this vehicle which means I cannot residualize this option and will have to pay 100% out of my pocket.
I just left Holly a message to call me as I am assuming ours was deleted from the invoice as well. I guess they never figured on a bunch of people ordering them from the start.

Flat load floor was removed from my order. They did not say when they would have it

After checking out the car today in person, I don't think I even want the Flat Load Floor option anyway. I'll mount the standard floor vertically against the rear seat backs to create a bulkhead and leave the boot well exposed. Should be just fine.

It snaps in place when you lift it up...it is a great option.

That is the standard floor. The flat load floor would cover the well when you have the standard floor snapped into the up position. I will probably get it as I like to keep tools and other stuff I do not need regular access to separate from other things that get loaded in and out of the car

Apparently we do not have the flat load floor option even though it was noted in owners lounge and my car sticker. The option was deducted from my invoice when I purchased the car which was verified by my MA.

I guess that means ours was not available either. Funny that MINI never contacted the dealer to inform us that it wasn't available, but Midnight found out about his a few weeks ago.

I was actually alerted by a forum member who is also an MA at another dealership. She informed me after receiving a bulletin from MINI. When I checked with my MA he hadn't heard anything about but checked the system and saw that the option had indeed been dropped from my order. Later stated that they received the bulletin after I contacted them.

According to our dealer's manager, our flat load floor made it into our car.

Mine says the same. But that we'll have to see when it arrives to be sure....

Interesting. My dealer is quite certain the option was dropped from my order. Hopefully you both will get yours.

If it's not on the car when it shows up they will have a lot of explaining and dealing to do.

It will be interesting to find out, since I wasn't offered the option of it when I ordered, and it's gone from the configurator. I'm hoping it comes in later as a dealer option.

If you just ordered your car in December, the dealer would not have offered it since supplies were depleted. You will be able to order one from the parts dept sometime next year, time to be determined later.

I wonder if that little recessed compartment could fit a small spare tire?

Interesting. Today the "Factory Ordered Options" in the Owners Lounge updated to remove the Flat Load Floor option. Earlier this week my MA was saying that it made it on the car since it was produced before the part shortage.

I'm half wondering if there wasn't a quality issue and they are actually removing them from cars that got them at the VDC.

Has anyone received a car with the Flat Load Floor?

Does anyone know the dimension of that small compartment under the flat floor cover?

Did it become standard feature? The dealer got a few Countryman and the window sticker said "cargo load floor with storage well". The one ALL4 that was open has the flat floor.

The description has always been a little strange. It seems that it has generally been agreed that standard comes with a single divider that can either cover the well in the bottom OR serve as a divider between the boot and passenger area but not both.

My understanding is that the "flat load floor" option provided the option to do both at the same time.

Precisely. Well stated. Again

This is clearly the most confusing option (er I mean future accessory) based on the number of questions it has generated.
