F60? Armrest

If there's a better sub forum for this let me know so I can move, but I can't seem to find an F60 repair related section.

I just bought back into the mini family (previously had 2005 convertible), and I think this is something that might be covered by CarMax's limited warranty still, but if it's possible to adjust myself I'd rather not take it in if possible.

2018 Countryman came with the center armrest with Qi charger, and it seems to fall lower than it should(angled downward) at the slightest amount of pressure. Is it possible to pry it up and adjust? If I pull the thing to the right a little bit, it does stay in place, but it just seems like there's something a little loose that so it doesn't hold its self in place properly.

Thanks!

The armrest has a ratchet mechanism that allows it to be "parked" at a number of positions. Once "parked" at the desired position, it should stay there. To re-adjust it, lift it up, then find the desired position by moving it down. Sounds like the ratchet on yours is not working as designed.
