Brian,
Got real serious about shocks and connected with one of the top shock guys here in the Northeast. He supplies all types, Koni, JRZ, Moton, Penski, Olin and others. He explained that JRZ and Moton are identical, coming from the same family, and that even the parts are interchangeable. He's set up other Minis, including Nuzo, so he has some knowledge of the mini's setup.
Should have them on in a few days.

Yea, your right about petcock Larry. The rad is mounted upside down due to brackets and better mounting. Petcock is out and plug in it's place.
If anyone has a name to talk with at Mini USA, mainly someone here in the northeast then please pass it along to me.
Anyone know if Mini is hosting the vintage at LRP this year?

I'm almost sure BMW is hosting the Vintage race at LRP. I think they own the rights up there. My guy at Towne is really tight with the number 1 or 2 guy in NJ. He also has a hook up with J. McDowell the head guy at MINI. I'll see what I can do, but no promises. Alain is also very well connected with MINI. Contact him in private. QT. I'll let you know. Send me a regular email. I may need info, pics, etc.
I'm in your corner.

Yes, I did advise against wrap but my experiences were with steel and not stainless. It seems to be OK with stainless, so I have been told.

Oh Geeesss .... I'm startin to feel old now ...
Well, things were slow this last couple of weeks due to the fact that someone gotta hold of my debit card # and emptied my checking account. Someone out in the Lancaster, CA. area did a lot of local shopping That plus about $300 in overdraft fees and I was out a few K. Thank god the bank took care of everything and I finally can get going and spend money once again ..
Will update a bit later. Just made an oil filter relocation plate for the block to eliminate the factory filter/cooler unit. Hope it works OK.
